In-School Programs
Young Filmmakers Bali creates filmmaking projects designed for schools, where students learn by creating their own films. Each project connects storytelling with educational themes, allowing students to explore important topics from the curriculum in a creative and engaging way. Through filmmaking, students develop confidence, communication, teamwork and critical thinking — while bringing meaningful educational messages to life on screen.
After School Activity

Interested in opening this after-school activity at your school?
Young Filmmakers Bali offers a fun extracurricular on-camera acting program delivered directly on campus. Open from Kindergarten to Secondary School, students develop confidence, storytelling and performance skills while acting in short filmed scenes each week. Videos are shared with parents, showcasing students’ progress and creativity.
In-Class Filmmaking Project

Would you like to offer your students a different way to explore the curriculum?
Students create a short film connected to the curriculum through storytelling, acting and filmmaking workshops.
Guided by Young Filmmakers Bali, each class develops its own story and participates in a real filming experience.
The project encourages creativity, teamwork and critical thinking while exploring meaningful educational themes.
Curriculum Film Challenge

Looking for a creative way to engage students with meaningful educational themes?
The School Film Challenge invites several classes to create short films around a shared theme connected to the curriculum. Topics may include, for example, environmental awareness, equality, bullying prevention, community values, and many others, encouraging students to reflect on important issues through storytelling and filmmaking.
Each class creates its own film, and the project culminates in a school screening where parents and the school community discover the films created by the students.
Awareness & Prevention

How can we help students develop awareness and prevention skills around the challenges they face every day?
This programme addresses bullying, cyberbullying, phone addiction, social media risks, and adolescent risk prevention through the creation of a short film.
By acting out real-life situations on screen, students experience consequences more deeply, develop critical thinking, and strengthen emotional awareness.
The programme can also include a school trip in collaboration with an NGO or community organisation. Students create a film on-site, exploring real social or environmental issues, while developing journalism and filmmaking skills and experiencing the impact of their work.
School Communication & Events

How can your school better communicate its educational approach while capturing the life of the school throughout the year?
We create documentary-style content within the classroom to highlight your pedagogy, student experience, and learning environment — including interviews with leadership, teachers, and staff.
We also capture key moments of school life, from sports events and performances to celebrations and special projects, creating engaging content that can be shared with families and your wider community.
For Schools & Educators
We also support teachers and school staff in developing their own communication skills — from filming and editing with a phone to creating engaging educational content.
Early Creative Learning (Kindergarten)

How can young children begin to express themselves, build confidence, and bring stories to life from an early age?
Starting from a story chosen in class, children progressively enter the world of storytelling and filmmaking. They listen to the story, choose their characters, and take part in the creation of a short film adapted to their age. With the guidance of their teachers and our team, they rehearse, create simple costumes and props, and experience the filming process in a playful and supportive environment. The project culminates in a final film shared with parents, along with behind-the-scenes moments — giving children a strong sense of pride, expression, and achievement.
